Change is in the Air

Change is in the air ...

So how've ya been?  It has been quite awhile since I have blogged here and today I am making my return. I have undergone many changes since last we spoke but the basics remain the same. I am still a mom of three kids and I still abhor cancer of all forms, most especially Pediatric, and I continue to learn how to work within the world of Autism, actually  Asperger's, and helping my son live with it.
 What's changed is how I have decided to treat myself while living this life. I have been on a journey to reclaim my health and happiness in order to be a partner with my husband and children and to see that our years together are active and vibrant rather than the sluggish and somewhat dim existence I was struggling with previously.
So what have I changed? Well to put it bluntly, myself. I have lost 65 pounds and found a happier being. I have been inspired by many friends, and some strangers too, to recharge my diet and exercise "environment". I now juice daily, eat a modified Paleo diet and have fallen in love with running. 
Let me be clear, I do none of these to perfection and some not even well, but I look forward to the day and though I still have some of the aches and pains of past years, none of those prohibits me from getting up and joining in the fun of living.
