And the winner of the E-Chocolate Shoe Award for putting one's foot in one's mouth via e-mail is .... ME! Yup! I have done what I laugh and roll my eyes at everyone else for! I could never understand how someone shoots off an email in the heat of emotion and never looks to see who it is going to. Well, here's a hint: I am also the same person (an RN in the Neonatal ICU) who could never understand how a woman is pregnant for 36+ weeks and can't come up with a name for her baby and then was forced to finally choose a name for my 2nd son before I could take him home. Some would call it Karma ...
Will I never learn? So I was upset about an issue in one of my children's classrooms and meant to shoot off a note to the teacher. Sounds easy enough, doesn't it? People all over the world, or at least in this country, do this every day! Yea, not so much in my world. Off goes the emotional email and unbenownst to me is sent to every parent, the principal and vice principal and several other teachers in the school ... uggh! Suffice to say, everyone is now aware of my feelings on the issue and I can hardly wait to go to the class meeting that coincidentally happens to be planned for tomorrow night! On the upside, I have received several letters of support so I know I'm not alone ... does that count? :)
Please friends, tell me I am not alone on this blunder.... someone else out there must have done a similar thing ... please share and make me feel better about myself, because remember, it IS all about me!!! :)
Peace,
K

  1. LOL - well lets see.... I've done stuff in the same neighborhood as that but never that - but probably ONLY because I don't have the email addresses and such like that. LOL... but it's great you are getting support!
